Privacy Policy

Mike's Mindsets is a small personal website operated from Ontario, Canada. It has no user accounts, no login, no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, and no advertising or profiling trackers. You can read every page without giving us any personal information.

If you email mikesmindsets@gmail.com, we receive whatever you include in that message — your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't sell or rent contact details to anyone.

Email is handled through Gmail (Google), so Google processes those messages under its own privacy policy.

The site is built and hosted on Lovable, which serves the pages through its hosting infrastructure. Like essentially all web hosting, that infrastructure processes standard technical request data — such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps — for delivery, security, and reliability. We don't have an analytics product installed on this site and we don't build visitor profiles from that data.

This site does not set advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. Any storage used by the browser is limited to what is needed for the pages to function. Your browser settings let you block or clear cookies and local storage at any time.

Pages here link out to services we don't control, including YouTube (Google) for videos, Amazon for the paperback edition of A Different Life, and Payhip for the e-book edition. When you follow one of those links, or when an embedded thumbnail loads from YouTube's servers, that company receives your request and handles your information under its own privacy policy and terms — not this one. Purchases are made entirely on those platforms; we never see or store your payment details.

We'd suggest reading the privacy policies of Google/YouTube, Amazon, and Payhip before using their services.

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If you've emailed us and want your message and contact details deleted, or you want to know what we hold, write to mikesmindsets@gmail.com and we'll deal with it within a reasonable time. Because the site collects nothing else, there is usually nothing else to access, correct, or delete.

If the site changes — for example if a contact form, newsletter, analytics, or direct checkout is added — this policy will be updated to describe what actually happens, and the date above will change.
